New hire spotlight

We’re excited to announce Patrick van Steijn has joined Norscom Automation Company on April 1st 2026, to take on the role as VP of Engineering.

Patrick is a seasoned expert, having spent 28 years of his career in various engineering and leadership roles at Redwood Software, setting the technical standard in the automation industry. He is clear about why he joins Norscom: ‘I am convinced, that in today’s market, Norscom’s reliable, intuitive and modern automation platform, accompanied with a European way of working, has great potential. I am looking forward to incorporating customer feedback in our development roadmap and solve our customers’ challenges. Norcom has proven to be capable of driving multiple successful migrations. My team will capitalize on this work and develop essential migration tooling that will automate big parts of the project. This will undoubtedly lead to reduced risk for customers taking on large scale automation projects.
